Didn’t get the chance to attend Alton Towers Live this year? Not to worry, as the Alton Towers Resort have formed a brand new partnership with Box TV which will allow footage of this years Alton Towers Live concert to be broadcast on TV and online.

The one hour show will be run on a plethora of 4Music’s digital platforms including their Youtube channel, where a fly on the wall style feature of the concert will be shown.

With regards to the event, the director of production and comissioning of Box TV, Janie Valentine had this to say:

 

“Our partnership with AEG & Alton Towers is another great example of Box TV’s exciting in-house productions. We’re all about having fun with artists on 4Music whilst promoting and developing them and Alton Towers is a fantastic backdrop for just that. Our show will allow a national 16-24 audience to hang out backstage and enjoy the performances with the stellar line up at Alton Towers Live, 2013. We’re working with a number of innovative labels and brands to bring our viewers exciting new access formats on TV and online, adding layers of quality editorial to our existing music video output.”

 

The concert took place earlier this month featuring acts such Stooshe, Union J, The Vamps, Connor Maynard, Rizzle Kicks, Little Mix and a headline performance from Olly Murs. The popular event saw incredily high guest figures on the day, mirroring the popularity from previous concert events held at the resort. It has been confirmed that Alton Towers Live will return in the 2014 season.
