Alton Towers Resort is home to the UK’s first Rollercoaster Restaurant, offering a unique dining experience. Once seated at one of 13 tables, diners can watch their orders travel through two ‘loop-the-loops’ before spiraling down 8 metres to their table.

Located on the site of the former Air Shop, the restaurant is open from 11am – 9.30pm throughout the season and offers two different menus depending on the time of day.

Up until 4pm the restaurant offers a lunch menu which includes a range of dishes including burgers, ribs and salads.

From 5.30pm the restaurant offers a premium evening menu including a variety of starters, along with a selection of other more refined options. Tables after 5.30pm are available via reservation only, with guests staying in the resort accommodation or nearby able to access the restaurant via a dedicated path between the hotels and theme park.

With this being the most premium of the resort’s restaurants, main meals are priced around £10 and upwards, although a slightly cheaper children’s menu is also available.

The Rollercoaster Restaurant is the most premium of the resort’s dining options, offering both a lunch menu and a more extensive dinner menu, alongside a varied children’s menu and a choice of desserts.
