Often the pain of online bookers lives, whether it’s travel, sporting events, music concerts or leisure attractions are booking fees for payments with a debit card.

Alton Towers have now taken the step of removing the charge from the booking process, which was previously £1.50.  In conjunction with the decision to remove the charges, the park have announced a 10-reasons-to-book page on their website, with reason 8 as ‘what you see is what you pay’. By booking online, not only do you save up to 40% off the standard price, but you can choose to print at home or collect on the day of your visit free of charge. In addition, online ticket holders benefit from free Early Ride Time on a selection of rides and attractions between 9-10am.
MasterCard and Visa Credit card bookings remain subject to a £1.50 charge, with Visa Debit, Maestro and American Express cards now free.
