P!nk is bringing her Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour to the Alton Towers Resort on Sunday, 27th June 2010. Tickets for the concert go on sale on Monday, 9th November priced at £45.00 + booking fee.
The concert is to be held on the front lawns at Alton Towers, subject to license, following the exclusive group of artists to have performed there over the years, including Chris de Burgh, James and Tina Turner. No artists have performed a full scale concert there for many years – with most live events being relegated to the car parks beyond flying rollercoaster, Air.
With such a unique setting infront of the Gothic masterpiece, the concert is likely to be a sure-fire hit with both fans of the global superstar and adrenalin junkies who want to combine world class rides with good music.
