Although 2021 got off to a slow start in terms of events due to continued disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, as the year progressed, and things transitioned back towards normality, the Resort were able to host all of their key events. There was also the addition of a colourful new event, Mardi Gras.
This new event saw the colourful sights and lively sounds of Mardi Gras arrive at the Resort, bringing a variety of entertainment and special food options.
The Resort’s family fun festival returned, expanded on from its debut year but still featuring live entertainment and European cuisine.
The three-night fireworks spectacular returned to close out the season with a display that took guests on a journey back through the history of Alton Towers.
