With many guests unable to travel abroad during the summer, the Resort wanted to provide extra thrills and delights over the school holidays. The event featured giveaways, the roaming No-Jet Getaway crew and an updated soundtrack around the theme park.
Running twice a day on the Front Lawns stage was the Ultimate Summer Giveaway, where guests had the chance to win gifts ranging from Fastracks, all the way up to a family short break! As part of the roaming entertainment, the No-Jet Getaway crew were on-hand to get guests in the holiday mood, with a few tricks up their sleeves to make people’s day extra special! Guests could also encounter the Alton Towers holidaymakers, dressed in their Hawaiian shirts, who were out on their very own ultimate getaway, rain or shine. The Alton Towers Traffic Patrol were also out as usual, but also had on the spot prizes for guests including ice cream, pin badges and Fastracks.
