Visitors to the Resort’s website now have the option to book a stay in a fairytale lodge from £157.50 based on 5 adults sharing, or £117 for two adults. Treehouses are not yet available to book, however they have been confirmed to sleep up to 8 people in 4 separate bedrooms, and each will contain its own 50 inch plasma TV, full self-catering facilities, lounge, outdoor dining area and hot tub.
As well as making the new accommodation available to book, some further details have also been confirmed about other areas of the new Village. Dotted around the village will be a selection of ‘quirky’ play structures allowing children to ‘become part of the magical story’. Lining some of the pathways will be ‘glowing mushrooms’ leading the way to the new restaurant – The Crooked Spoon.
When complete the area will feature:
- 60 double lodges
- 5 tree houses
- The Crooked Spoon Restaurant
- Parking Facilities
- Play areas
Construction has already begun in the field next to the Alton Towers Hotel, with early groundwork progressing well. Barriers have been erected around the site with banners advertising the new accommodation.
