Over the first weekend in September Alton Towers was taken over by those happy people at Playstation 2. A series of free events were laid on for guests including inflatable sumo wrestling, a zip wire, live music and even a Human Jukebox. (It's probably best not to ask).

TowersTimes has received confirmation that Toyland Tours will close on Sunday 5th June 2005 in preparation for an exciting new development which will open in 2006. The attraction will be most suitable for younger guests, but as yet we cannot confirm the theme of the attraction
