One of the oldest features in the grounds of Alton Towers is the Flag Tower which dates from as early as 1810 and is located on the west edge of the Alton Towers estate. These days, the main purpose of the Flag Tower is to house cellular antennas, and indeed that is what these plans relate to, but they also allows us to take a closer look at this amazing and often overlooked building.
