Alton Towers Resort is home to the UK’s first Rollercoaster Restaurant, offering a unique dining experience. Once seated at one of 13 tables, diners can watch their orders travel through two ‘loop-the-loops’ before spiraling down 8 metres to their table.

Located on the site of the former Air Shop, the restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30am – 3:00pm and dinner from 5:00pm (usually until around 9:30pm) throughout the season.

The restaurant’s menu features a range of dishes including burgers, ribs and salads. At lunch, the restaurant offers a more limited menu, which doesn’t include starters or desserts. However, there are some sandwich options which are only available during the day.

Although booking is not necessary for lunch, tables in the evening are available via reservation only, with guests staying in the resort accommodation or nearby able to access the restaurant via a dedicated path between the hotels and theme park.

With this being the most premium of the resort’s restaurants, main meals are priced around £12 and upwards, although a slightly cheaper children’s menu is also available.
