To get into Alton Towers there is an admission fee. Once in, most of the attractions are free.

Alton Towers is open
for the main season from the 15th March -
9th November 2008. The park opens at 9.30am, rides open at
10.00am and close between 4-7pm depending on the time of year.

Packages and Special Offers:
Towers2 If you realise while you are in
the park that you fancy another day out at Alton Towers later in
the season you can buy a cheap return ticket during your visit.
Towers2 tickets are available from the Sales and Information
booths within the park and come in two varieties: a ticket for
the following day will cost just £8, whilst a ticket which will
allow entry at any point later in the season will cost £13.
Fastrack Thrills Ticket Package
This is a
park entry ticket plus a shortcut pass which gives priority
entry on Air, Nemesis, The Flume and Oblivion. Targeted at
guests who take riding the thrill rides seriously, it is
available from the
Alton Towers website at £33 for adults and £25 for
children. A limited number of Fastrack passes are
also available on the day for £8 from Sales and Information booths.

Thrills + Rita
Speeding Ticket Package
This is
similar to the Fastrack Thrills package, but includes Rita -
Queen of Speed as well as the park entry ticket and guaranteed
time slots on Air, Nemesis, The Flume and Oblivion. It is
available from the
Alton Towers website at £37. A limited number of speeding
tickets are also available on the day for £12 from Sales and
Information booths.
