In 1991 the Tri-Star replaced the 4
Man Bob in Talbot Street. Called the
Tri-star because of its three arms: it was a cross between the Enterprise and
Turbo Star, with passengers sitting in cars, which swing outwards, all
attached to a central arm which lifts up similar to Enterprise.
After one season on Talbot Street the
ride then moved to Festival Park, where it sat alongside the
Enterprise for just one season. It was removed from the park at the
end of 1992.
