The Rowing Boats used to be on the big lake
in front of the Towers from at least 1929 until 1997. Over the years the Rowing Boats were joined by various other style of boats including Red Indian
Canoes, smaller Splash Cat boats in the shallow area of the lake,
alongside Adventure Land, and a much larger motor boat (bottom picture).
They were all
eventually removed in 1996, leaving the main lake empty of
attractions, until 2004 when a new 'golf hole in one' attraction
took up residence in it.
