Opened in
1992, the Haunted House was a classic spook house, found in Gloomy Wood. Although you can't tell from the outside of the house, it was
in fact the size of a football pitch!
The journey
started out on foot, with an eerie walk around a graveyard. Once you
entered the house, you walked through spooky corridors and slanted
rooms and then as you moved on you were greeted by a coffin style
car. In groups of six you would be taken on a scary 8 minute journey
of the house.
The Haunted house was replaced by Duel in 2003, Duel has the same layout that the haunted house used, a lot of the ride is very similar, but there's also some stunning new effects. The main change to the ride is that it's been made interactive.
