Pippin came to Alton Towers in 1988, joining his robotic colleague, Splodge. Pippin would drive around the park an electric car, chatting to guests while broadcasting his very own radio show, Radio Pippin.

Due to his mobile nature Pippin could often be found all over the park, frequenting areas all the way from Towers Street through to Fountain Square and Talbot Street. He left the Towers at the end of 1992.
