The Count may
have originally appeared as early as 1988, as one of the inhabitants
of the Towers' ruins in the Henry Hound series of Ladybird Books.
He often played
tricks on Henry, and came up with many well intentioned, but
ultimately bumbled plots over the years, as is chronicled in the
comics found in the Wonderful Times
He appeared in
many of the Ice Shows, as well as being important in the introduction
of the new Haunted House in 1992. The Count was
last seen at Alton Towers as part of the Halloween Spooktacular in
2001.
