Ahead of the main season, Alton Towers opened the doors to its theme park with selected rides and attractions open to guests both thrilling and fun, along with the return of the Moshi Monsters, who brought with them a variety of activities. Due to the construction of CBeebies Land there were some differences to the attraction line-up seen in previous years.

As well as experiencing selected rides and attractions, visitors could also complete The Great Moshling Egg Quiz Trail, and have the chance to take home their own Moshling figure.
There was also the opportunity for guests to meet some of their favourite Moshi Characters for the first time, such as Buster Bumblechops and Dr Strangeglove.
