In early 2004 the log flume was re-themed, and given new lining, with rubber ducks, taps, bath plugs and of course showers featuring heavily around the ride as it became The Flume: Unplugged!

Construction has begun on the station, with scaffolding in place and the roof stripped – you can see the new wood where bits of the roof have been reshaped. Construction work is also taking place by the entrance, there is ground clearance taking place next to The Flume, and there is evidence of work in the tunnel.

Construction continues on the station, with the start of a theming element on the top of the exterior. Work on reshaping the lake has also progressed. Meanwhile, the old entrance is being removed, and a new queue path is in the process of being installed.

More theming has now been added to the top of the roof, in the form of shower heads and a large tap at the top. Inside, the control booth appears to have had a revamp. Next to the station, bubble theming is being stored on the floor ready for installation. Throughout the layout, a new better quality liner is being laid, although there doesn’t seem to be much currently happening inside the tunnel. The photo kiosk has been stripped down to its frame, with the old photo kiosk sign on the floor. The lake continues to be landscaped, although the new queue line path appears complete.

More tiles have been placed on the station roof since the last update. The lake still has no water in, with landscaping still taking place. Work on installing the tough blue lining in the trough also continues. Footers have been laid for a new building, possibly a photo shop. Looking down the queue line, the old queue line signs are still present. Finally, theming begins inside the station, with big white bubbles hanging from the roof. The structure has been sprayed gold and the operators cabin re-painted and tiled.

The roof of the main station is now looking complete, although work continues on the new entrance to The Flume. The tunnel also has newly themed roofing.
