Submission To Be Retired

TowersTimes has today learned that Submission is to be retired before the start of the 2014 season.

The removal of the ride has been part of the Park’s long term development plan so this announcement will not come as a surprise to fans of the park.

Located in X-Sector, Submission originally opened in 2001 taking the place of Energizer. However, in recent years the ride’s operations have been severely impacted and it has only been running one of its two arms. However, despite it being thought that the second arm may have been replaced with the introduction of The Smiler, the announcement today confirms the end for the attraction.

Are you sad to see Submission’s removal, or do you think the ride should have stayed for another season? Head on over to our forums to discuss your thoughts.

With just 12 days to go before the resort opens its doors for the February half term event, keep an eye on TowersTimes for all the latest news and developments.
