X-Sector used to be known as Fantasy World, originally its only rides were the Pirate Ship and Cine 2000 and before the theme park became established the entrance and car parks were situated in here. In 1984 The Black Hole was installed in Fantasy World, replacing the model dinosaurs, which were moved to the Log Flume site. Turbo Star and Gravitron were installed in the area in the 1980's but were later removed.
In 1997 something big was happening in Fantasy World, all of the rides apart from the Black Hole were removed and construction started on Oblivion - The worlds first
vertical drop roller coaster! Enterprise and Energizer were installed in 1998 along with a name change, Fantasy World became known as X-Sector. In 2001 Energizer was moved to Ug land and Submission opened. The latest twist in this areas tale is the closure of it's oldest resident, the Black Hole! Will we see a new ride in it's place? The future only knows what and when!
