This area of the park used to be known as Festival park until in 1999 when it was re-themed into Ug Land. In late 2004 almost everything was removed from the area preparing it to receive a major new ride and a revamp to the theme. In April 2005 Ug land featuring the Thunder Rock Rally opened and now the area is dominated by Rita - Queen Of Speed which is an Intamin Rocket coaster that launches you from 0 to 100kph in 2.5 seconds!
Some of the old favourites can still be found here including the Ug Swingers, Soakasaurus, Cave Games and the famous Corkscrew! Also catch a snack at Bronto Bites, whether you want a drink, hot dog, fish and chips or
doughnuts it's the ideal takeaway to get them all.
With Thunder rock radio blasting out well known rock songs all around the area, Ug land really is a buzzing and exciting area to be in.
