The African settlement built in the middle of Alton Towers, Katanga Canyon is an adventurous area allowing visitors to explore the wild. The two rides in Katanga Canyon are The Runaway mine train and the Congo River Rapids, each of them explores the area via a different route.
The area has its own shop called The Katanga Cargo Company,
this sells Alton Towers merchandise and many other jungle
goodies. And for food in Katanga Canyon there is a KFC and Pizza Hut. You can either have a take-away meal, or sit down in the restaurant. Menu's are the same as the high street chains and so are the prices.
