THE OBLIVION ROOM So you rode the ride, now dare you sleep in the bedroom!? When you walk into the Oblivion room you activate the lights by placing your right hand on the access panel located on the wall and other futuristic effects can be found throughout the suite, such as electric lighting plates! The theming of the Oblivion Room is futuristic and vibrant, even the en-suite bathroom is themed to your favourite ride. When you flush the toilet a sound effect will play in a futuristic voice saying “Sanitation in progress!” Don’t worry as the sound will only play when the toilet is flushed until midnight. If you have small children who want to sleep earlier enquire at reception as it may be possible for them to turn off the sounds earlier. This themed room sleeps up to six people. It can be found on floor three of the Alton Towers hotel in room 305. There is one double bed, bunk beds and a sofa bed. You will even get some Oblivion souvenirs to take home! As with all the themed rooms you will receive an X-celerator pass which will allow you one Priority access pass to every major ride in the park!
